How can I get translator while visiting a doctor?

My sister is 60 years old and she needs translator while visiting a doctor, we mostly ask Caritas for providing translator however sometimes we need send a request a week in advance or sometime their translators are not free. How can i get a permanent translator for her so that whenever she visits her doctor she could approach the translator?

Hello @Samira Aslamzada I am happy to support you in finding an additional translator for your sister. Therefore, may I ask in which city your sister lives and for which language she requires translation services?

thank you very much, she lives in Limburg and she needs traslation from Dari/persian to Deutch vice versa. when she goes to doctor she needs someone to translate her problem to doctor and then her doctor prescriptions to be translated to her back.

Hello @Samira Aslamzada thank you for your reply. After our research in your area, we found that only Caritas offers translator escorts to doctors. I assume you are already in contact with CariLingua. Unfortunately, no organization can provide a permanent translator for your sister. There might be the only possibility to request a translator for the appointment as soon as your sister knows about them. In case no one from CariLingua will be available, my colleague contacted the organization "Verein Iranischer Flüchtlinge in Berlin e.V." (Association of Iranian Refugees in Berlin) and they agreed that your sister could call them during their office hours and have someone translate for her. Surely, provided the doctors office gives their consent. I'll send you their phone number via direct message. The office hours of "Verein Iranischer Flüchtlinge in Berlin e.V.": Mon. 11-14 Tue. 10-14 Wed. 10-13 Thu. 13-15 I hope this will help, in case no other translator will be available to accompany her.
