Immediate family members reunification
Hello, This is Noori.
My father is currently residing in Germany and is given all the necessary documents for permanent residency. He was told by the relevant office that gave him his documents that his family can now apply for a family reunification. His family includes his wife, one 33 year old son, and one 22 year old daughter. How can we apply for a family reunification? Can you help me with this process?

Hi @nooriii11 ,
I wanted to check in with you. Have you reached out to a counseling center? Is there any update on the visa appointment yet?
Best wishes

Thank you so much for your reply.
The embassy has gotten back to us asking for some certain documentations, including a language proficiency certificate, as you have previously mentioned. Unfortunately neither my mother not my siblings have such certificate. Is there any way that this couldn’t negatively affect the case?
Hello @nooriii11 happy to hear from you again!
It is great that you already had an appointment at the embassy!
I went through our conversation again and couldn't read which residence permit your father has. Is it a protection status according to §25, para. 1? Usually, in case of a privileged family reunification, no language certificate is required, but of course it is always an advantage.
If you could tell me again which paragraph your father has on his residence permit, I can give you more information.
I look forward to your feedback!
