Hello @Maria  , thank you for getting in touch. If you would like to check whether your marriage is registered in Germany, please contact the registry office (Standesamt). They will be able to tell you about marriage registrations. If your marriage is not registered, you can start the registration process now with the necessary documents: https://handbookgermany.de/en/marriage#faq_483
To find out about your taxes, your husband should receive tax documents showing the tax class in which he is registered (e.g. married). You can contact your local tax office and enquire about your tax status. If you are a permanent resident, you can apply for naturalisation, however you will have to meet also other requirements: https://handbookgermany.de/en/citizenship#faq_145 If you have any further questions, please let us know. Best Barbara
