Am i allowed to work a job not related to my qualifications?

after the new skilled worker immigration law took effect in November 2023, is a person with a "Job search visa for professionals under Section 20 (1) (2) of the Residence Act " allowed to work a job not related to my profession? i have seen the sentence "the link between job and qualifications has been eliminated" so is that what it means?

Dear @mhhobeid , Thank you for contacting us. Congratulations on your visa. Yes, as you wrote, you can look for a job in the field that is not related to your qualification: https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/skilled-immigratio… If you have any further questions, please let me know. Dear barbara, thank you for your answer. I am an engineer, last year i came to germany with a Job search visa for professionals, however when i tried to work at amazon for example, they said i am not allowed to work there with my visa and i require the approval of the ausländerbehörde. so now i can work such a job without the need for the approval of the ausländerbehörde?

Hey mhhobeid , I have checked it once again. So the visa only allows you to enter the country: https://handbookgermany.de/en/visa-jobseekers#faq_1546 (update 6.09.23). You can work in the field that is not related to your qualifications, but you will need a work permit from the Migration Office (Ausländerbehörde). If you change your job, you must also inform the Migration Office.
