Asylum Application in Germany

Dear admin,

My mom and sister received French Humanitarian visa two weeks ago. However, they have planned to come to Germany and to live with me instead of living in France. Since my mom is old and I fear that she may not be able to go to police station for submitting her asylum application. So my question is that can we send a letter to BAMF for submitting an asylum application for both my sister and mom?. Just FYI, I am living in Munich and works here full time and have my own apartment.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Thank you.

Dear @narges.sharifi thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, you can only seeking asylum in Germany. This means an asylum application process typically requires your sister and mother to be physically present in Germany and submit their application in person to be able to apply for asylum. On our website you can find more general information about the asylum process. . However, since she already received a humanitarian visa in France already, it might happen that she won't receive a comparable status in Germany anymore and she will loose here visa in France. That's why it is very important to consult an asylum counselling center and additionally get legal councelling. Diakonie München, Münchener Flüchtlingsrat or Bellevue de Monaco offers asylum counselling and might also provide some recommendations for legal advice. I hope those are some starting points to be able to make an informed decision and not rushing anything. Please let me know if you have further questions
