Ausbildung seeker visa

Guten Tag alles, I am Indian citizen applying for ausbildung seeker visa, I cleared my B1 exam and already continuing with B2 Level. My question is do I need APS Akademische Prüfstelle for my matriculation and higher secondary school leaving certificates. The consular services portal does not ask for it but I know it's required for study visas. Secondly do i need to upload certified copies of my documents in portal or simple uploads are sufficient?

Hello, thanks for your question.
I’m not an expert, but I did a bit of research and wanted to share what I found.

For the portal upload, simple, clear scans are sufficient. There is no need for certified or notarized copies unless the embassy specifically asks for them later. If you are invited for an appointment, just bring the originals and regular photocopies.

For an Ausbildung Seeker Visa, APS (Akademische Prüfstelle) is not required. APS applies only to study-related visas, which is why it is not listed in the Consular Services Portal for this visa category. The APS certification process is primarily for students who intend to pursue university-level studies in Germany. You can find more details here: https://aps-india.de/faqs/

Here’s an overview of the process:

I wish you all the best with your visa process and your start in Germany!
