Blue card extension/PR application
Hello,
I have recently appleid for a PR in Berlin but as my Blue card is set to expire soon (less than 2 months) I wanted to know if I can also apply for a Blue card extension right now? As I have not heard back from the PR application and understand it will take a long time. Thank you in advance for your help!

Unfortunately, the processing time takes indeed a quite long while.
It is recommended to have a valid residence permit, so it is a good thought to apply for your Blue Card extension. In Berlin, you can find the required documents on their website and apply online: https://service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/324659/en/
