Blue Card to Permanent Residence

Hello,

I wanted to ask you regarding the eligibility for Permanent Residence. I currently have a Blue Card and I have been working under Blue Card conditions since 1 year.

Before that, I was under Family Reunion visa and working for 1.5 years without Blue Card and my salary range was under the required salary for Blue Card.

In order for me to apply to a Permanent Residence, I need to have 27 months of employment.

But my question is, would my working months under Family Reunion visa be included for 27 months or only employment with Blue Card would be counted for 27 months?

Best,

Ebru

Hallo @ealcar  , thank you for getting in touch. The 27 months refer to the time with the blue card: https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/skilled-immigratio… Please also check the link for information on permanent residence: https://handbookgermany.de/en/permanent-residence-migrants If you have any further questions, please let us know.
