Chancenkarte

Hello

I have a question. I would like to apply for the chancenkart .         I studied accounting in university for three years and have been working as a warehouse clerk for five years.                       Can I change my employment status based on my professional experience, or should I look for a job in accounting?

Thank you

Dear @Poutchi75 thank you for your question!

To answer your question more precisely, may I ask if you are already in Germany or abroad? Which job would you like to apply for if not in accounting?
For the meantime, you can also read more about the Opportunity Card on Handbook Germany.

Happy to get your feedback.

Hello

Thank you for your answer. I am currently in Canada, but my visa has been approved. I have five years of experience in"fachkraft lagerlogistisk" , so I want to look for work in this field.

Thank you

Dear @Poutchi75 thank you for your patience.

It is great that your visa for the opportunity card is already been approved - congratulations!

You can work as a "Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik", even though you are holding an acknowledged degree in a different field, in case the job is considered a qualified job. A qualified job requires at least 2 years of a vocational training or a university degree to do the job. You can learn more about skilled workers on Handbook Germany

Wish you all the best!
Please let me know if you have further questions.
