Hello @MKS Fernando thanks for reaching out. With the changes of law a switch from Schengen (tourist) visa to skilled workers residence permit (§18a/b) is theoretically possible, if - the circumstances are spontaneously fitting the skilled workers requirements (you cannot have the job offer before your stay in Germany) - all requirements are fulfilled 100 percent - only possible for this countries: https://lexparency.de/eu/32018R1806/ANX_II/ . Regarding those requirements the chances aren't very high to get this done in those 90 days because you are still not allowed to overstay the Schengen visa, even if the application for §18a/b is running. (Source: https://www.ggua.de/fileadmin/downloads/tabellen_und_uebersichten/Spurw… ) . If you are currently not in Germany and want to work in Germany you can inform yourself about national visas. You will apply beforehand for f.e. a qualified work visa and be entitled to work in Germany and stay longterm. Therefore your degree needs to be as well recognized. More information can be found here: https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/types/work-qualifi… . Best regards Daniela
