Is citizenship possible after §33 AufthG

I started living in Germany officially after marriage at Tonder Denmark on 16.11.2015 and I have Niederlassungserlaubnis § 9 after divorce with my ex German wife. My girlfriend just had a baby girl on 17.03.2023 and my daughter was issued § 33 on July 31. But my question is this,  I applied for Naturalisation on 04.05.2023 together with my daughter's birth certificate.  My question is, can  she(my daughter)be granted citizenship alongside me the father? But the mother is waiting for her first permit.

Hello @chuks77 , thank you for your important question on our platform. I am sure there are many who have similar questions. Have you already applied for so called “Vaterschaftsannerkeung” which means paternal recognition of the child? Unfortunately, if you are not married you are not given automatic paternity recognition of the child. This is the first step to ensure that your child can benefit from your permanent residence. . You can apply for this at your local “Jugendamt”. The application is free of charge. Your girlfriend will need to bring her ID, “Mutterpass” and birth certificate. You will also need to bring you ID and birth certificate. You can read more about this process in our chapter “Born in Germany” https://handbookgermany.de/en/born-in-germany . In case you do not have these documents then it can be hard to obtain the recognition. In this case it would be a good idea to receive some advice from a specialized support centre. If you let me know what city, you are in I can help you locate such a centre. . If you have already received paternity recognition, have lived in Germany for 8 years or longer with a legal status and have a permanent residence then you child will be recognized as a German citizen. You would still need to apply for this, this is not automatically granted. Along with the German citizenship your child can also have the citizenship of your home country. If you do not meet the requirements yet, then you child can get the German citizenship later. . I hope this answers your questions. I am always happy to help if you have any further questions. Best wishes to you and your family.

Thank you hugely community manager, I had already done the parternity and the child bears my surname too. My Lawyer had also helped me on other aspect too in the inclusion of her name and data in the application of the Naturalisation. She was recently granted § 33 as I had said earlier.I started living in Deutschland officially on 16.11.2015.
