Commitment letter

Hai Barbara i am susi from basel

i am Indonesia citizent,my son will continue studi in german,but he need commitment letter from german embassy,did i am can ask for him but I am not stay in german I stay in basel swiss and I am have working permit

Hey @suesie , thank you for your question. Why does your son need a declaration of commitment (https://handbookgermany.de/en/declaration-of-commitment-national-visa#f…) for studying in Germany? If he wants to study in Germany, he needs a student visa. To obtain this visa, your son must demonstrate that he has sufficient funds to cover living costs during his studies.
