@Hashmatullah__zazai Hi, as you're above 18 and married, it's so unlikely that you could apply for family reunification. here is some general information about any possibility: https://handbookgermany.de/fa/afghanistan-info?antkhab-mwdw=awrdn-aday-… if you could provide me more information about your family in Germany (their legal status, place of living, and their financial situation) I might be able to help you more

unfortunately I can't tell you how your father's colleague managed to transfer his son, since I have no specific information about their case. the only possible explanation I have, is that he applied for the whole family, once he was still in Afghanistan himself. back then (3 years ago), there was a temporary law, enabling the German local staff to apply for their whole family (including children over 18, in case they are single and live with the family in one house). some people managed to get visa for their children like this. but even back then, many cases were rejected. in your case, your parents came to Germany without you, and you are not single. I'm afraid, but it's not possible for your father to apply the family reunification for you. yet, if you want, I can find a legal consultation center in Bonn to give more detailed information to your family
