Hi,

This Wednesday, 5.9.2923 I will have an appointment with the job centre in Munich but I don't speak any German. I feel extremely uncomfortable since last time I went on my own and it did not go well as the case officer was speaking only German.

Is there any chance to find a translator who will be available from 8:15 am for an hour?

Hello @nataliya.stephens thank you for contacting us. I am sorry to hear that your last appointment did not go well. The language barrier with offices is a problem many people face in Germany. Often going to these offices can be very intimidating. - Were you able to organise a translation for today? It is a good idea to try and find someone that can help you translate some time in advance. In Munich there are different advice centres which you can seek out to see if they are able to help. There are a group of people that support each other at the job center. It's worth writing them an e-mail and asking if they are able to join you to translate. http://igel-muc.de/pdf/Flyer_IGEL-druckerei.pdf Could I also kindly ask you to shorten your username or use a nickname. This is because our forum is public and we would like to safeguard the privacy of our community. Thank you for understanding. I hope this was useful for you. Please let me know if you need any other support. Best wishes
