German Citizenship

Hi Team,

I am enquiring behalf of my aunty who lives in Germany since 1996 with srilankan nationality

She would like to obtain german citizenship is that possible?

She is a full time carer for her disabled son and unable to attend college to complete courses ..can she able to apply for german citizenship with her personal circumstances

Hello @Pamini , thank you for reaching out. Indeed there are cases where exceptions can be made. In order to see if this applies to your mother I would recommend that you mother seeks personalised counselling. Could you please let me know where you mother is located and if she is able to communicate in German. That way I can find a suitable counselling center for her. It might also be best for her to receive counselling via phone or chat, if she is a full time carer. It would be great if you can let me know these details so I can find the best support for your aunty Best wishes

Hello @Pamini , thank you for your patience. I have found the following counselling centres for your aunty. I would recommend she contacts them via phone or Mail and then she can make an appointment.
