Getting a vocational training in Germany

The regulations depend on whether you are already in Germany or are planning to come to Germany. If you are planning to come to Germany on a vocational training visa you should have B2 German level. Here is more information on the application process in Berlin: “The language competency required for the completion of the vocational training must be assured. In most cases this will mean sufficient proficiency in the German language equivalent to level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
