Dear @Chubby , thank you for getting in touch. Could you please let us know what kind of residency/status you have in Germany? Best Barbara
Hi @Chubby , thank you for your inquiry. These answers are provisional, as we do not know your exact situation and cannot give legal advice.
It is possible that an inability to travel due to illness could be a legitimate reason to request that a Dublin deportation not be carried out. This would require medical certificates and reports from doctors of a certain type, which you would have to present to the immigration authorities and the BAMF. We recommend that you contact a lawyer for advice. Show the lawyer the medical reports you have and ask what additional reports would be needed.
What can you do next?
Find an advice center: https://adressen.asyl.net/ and https://life-initiative.org/en/beratungsstelle/
Find a lawyer (you will have to pay): https://bravsearch.bea-brak.de/bravsearch/index.brak (“Fachanwaltsbezeichung”: “Migrationsrecht”) and https://life-initiative.org/en/anwaltssuche/
Ask for help from a LIFE Initiative volunteer in german or in english: https://life-initiative.org/en/support/
I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have further questions, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Franziska
