Holidays leave

hello everyone,

I belong to job center, I have came to Istanbul for a few days, for how long can I stay here so that I don’t face any problem with job center.

Hello @khanan , thank you for reaching out to us. Usually you will have to let the Job Center know before you are leaving Germany. This is called "Ortsabwesenheit". Then usually you will have to receive an approval if you want to leave Germany for a certain period. Most important is that you are "reachable" for the jobcenter. In case they cannot reach you or you miss deadlines you can risk sanctions in the worst case scenario. My suggestion would be to always inform the jobcenter before you travel to avoid any issues. . Since you are already abroad it might be a good idea to see if someone can check if you have received any mail from the jobcenter. Informing them about your leave would also be good. If it is just a couple of days then I would not worry too much. Maybe @Faire Integration in Schleswig-Holstein also has further tips of how to avoid running into issues with the jobcenter, when leaving Germany Best wishes
