I want Residence permit

Hi sir hope doing well i got 3 years asylum protaction on 13.06.2023 i got termin for giving finger for plastic ID card when i got termin and go to auslanderbehode office they told me up to this time we didny have your docoment from BAMF when some one want termin for ID card it take maybe 2 or 3 months after alot of time if didnt give finger for iD card and passport

What is the reason the it take to much time

Hello @sharafatullah.haqyar , thank you for posting your question on our platform. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon we have received a similar question from someone waiting for his plastic ID. They have also been waiting for around 4 moths. You can see the question here: https://together-in-germany.de/en/thread/answer-bamf  .  The BAMF need to let the Ausländerbehörde know that your asylum procedure is finished. That can sometimes take a while. The issuance of the plastic ID card can also take a while. In the meantime you should receive a so called “Fiktionsbescheinigung” or fictional certificate. Do you currently have one? It should be stated in this paper that you have the right to work.  The reason for this delay is that there is not enough staff to work in the migration offices. Many refugees and migrants suffer under this lack of efficiency and very long waiting time.
