Hello @sharafatullahdk , thank you for reaching out to us. Your tax is depending on your type of employment. If you only have a mini-job with a limit of income (520€/month) your employer is paying 2% of your gross monthly salary. In this case you don’t have to do anything further. . With a short-term employment you can choose to pay 25% of your income (plus solidarity tax) or can do your own taxation through a so-called „Lohnsteuerkarte“. This sometimes give you more advantages. Please note, if you have multiple mini-jobs, you will need to pay taxes and solidarity taxes as well. Additionally, with a mini-job you have the possibility to not contribute to your pension fund. However, you might consider to pay them because proof of the duration of payment will be needed in case you want to apply for a permanent residency. Please let me know if you have more questions.
