Moving to a bigger City because of Health reasons
Hello everyone,
I am an Afghan refugee living in a small town in Niedersachsen. When I came to Germany, I sought asylum in Baden-Württemberg, but I was moved here because of the quota system. My asylum was rejected after 12 months, and I appealed. My lawyer told me it will take around 3 years to get a decision.
I had stress and anxiety before coming to Germany and was already receiving treatment. My condition has become worse here. I feel very depressed — no job, no social life, and no friends, even though I speak good German and advanced English. People here are nice but not really friendly. After two years, I still don’t have a single German friend. This isolation is becoming unbearable.
I talked to my lawyer, and he said it might be possible to move to another country or a bigger city if my doctor writes a letter because of my health condition. I am taking medicine from my dr since last two years he helped me a lot so a letter is not a problem. Due to my depression, I find it difficult to make decisions.
My questions are:
– What should I do?
– Will it be possible to move to another big city?
– What will happen with my accommodation? Will they put me in a camp again?
– Will I receive some help after moving?
Any information would be very helpful. Thank you.
