moving to Germany from the Netherlands

Hello! My husband and I are planning to move to Germany,we are from Ukraine ,and now we live in The Netherlands , our mother and sister are there, and we are also planning to start our own family,and we would like to be in Germany closer to our family .Our question is whether we can receive temporary protection in Germany and refuse protection in the Netherlands?

If you have already been granted a protection status in the Netherlands, you can only move to Germany under certain conditions in order to apply for temporary protection under §24. Moving is only possible if the country you wish to move to is willing to accept you. In addition, you must give up your temporary protection status in your current country of residence. More informationen here: https://handbookgermany.de/en/ukraine-residence#faq_3834. We strongly recommend that you visit a local advice centre for migrants and ask for support.
