Dear Sir/Madam

Hope you are fine and doing well

MY appointment is schedule on Aug/23/2023, in German Embassy Islamabad, but I don't have much time in my passport, it expire in Oct-2023, & getting new passport is not easy these days. What should I do?

Dear @FS , thank you your question. Could you please let me know what the appointment at the German Embassy in Islamabad is for? There is an e-mail from the GIZ which helps in cases the passport is no longer valid. Hello @FS , sorry for the late reply. So in principle you can extend the passport at in Afghanistan. This should not be a problem you can also do this outside of Afghanistan in the respective consulates and embassies. Without a valid passport you can unfortunately, not receive a visa.
