Hello youmjoel, thank you for your inquiry. Please note that these answers are provisional, as we do not know your exact situation and cannot give legal advice.
Your question as to whether having a child in Germany could increase your chances being granted asylum or getting a residence permit in Germany is not easy to answer. If a child is under 18 years old and has a valid residence permit or a german citizenship and the parent has sole or shared custody of the child it is possile to receive a residence permit in Germany. Whether your child would be able to obtain a valid residence permit or a german citizenship may depend on status of the parents and how long they have been in Germany for. It is important to stress that having a child in Germany will not guarantee you a stay. These decisions are "individual case evaluations" and depend on multiple factors. You can read more about having a child in Germany here: https://handbookgermany.de/en/born-in-germany
As this topic is very complex, we advise you to contact a lawyer for more specific information on your individual situation and advice. You can search for a lawyer in your area here: https://bravsearch.bea-brak.de/bravsearch/index.brak You can also look here: https://anwaltauskunft.de/anwaltssuche or here: https://rechtsberaterkonferenz.de/mitgliederliste/. Choose a lawyer who specializes in migration law. Here you will find a guide in English on how to find a suitable lawyer: https://life-initiative.org/en/anwaltssuche/. This help costs money.
If you suspect that your asylum application will be rejected, you can read here in English what you can do to improve your chances of long-term residence: https://life-initiative.org/en/chancen-langfristiger-aufenthalt/. For more information, we recommend you to contact a migration advice center. You can search at: https://adressen.asyl.net/language/en/welcome-to-informationnetwork-asy… or https://bamf-navi.bamf.de/de/Themen/Migrationsberatung/. (Enter your postal code and you will find advice centers near you). Here you will find a guide in English on how to find a suitable counselling centre: https://life-initiative.org/en/beratungsstelle/.
I hope this information is helpful for you.
Kind regards,
Yasmin
