Phd student on 18b

Hi, i am currently employed at university on 50 percent position and doing phd. My residence permit is 18b(1). My question is after phd can i get 18 months job seeker visa.

Hi @amna , thank you for coming to our platform. Yes, after your phd, you would have the right for the job seeking visa if you fulfill the requirements. 
One of the requirements is to be able to secure your livelihood, so that means to proof enough income so that you are not eligible for receiving "Bürgergeld"
