Seeking Financial Support for My Wife’s B2 German Course
Hi everyone,
I'm happy to be part of the Together in Germany platform! I'm a Software Developer, and last month, I transitioned my visa status from a Blue Card to a Niederlassungserlaubnis.
I've personally funded my wife's German language courses from A1 to B1, which has been quite an investment. I would love for her to continue to B2 and beyond, but the costs add up quickly.
Could anyone share information about potential financial support or government/institution-sponsored courses that might be available for further language studies?
I'd be very grateful for any advice or information you could provide.
Best regards,

Hello @mohammadAziz , thank you for joining our platform.
As far as I know there is only financial help if you are doing the integration course. Once you have completed the course successfully you can receive 50% of the costs back from the BAMF. I do not think there is any way that the costs of the course can be compensated for your wife. But maybe other community members have some experience with this.
We have general information on where to sign up for a course. Usually the locals "volkshochschulen" offer quite cheap courses.
You can have a look on our site here: https://handbookgermany.de/en/learning-german

Thank you very much @Yara_Community Manger for the valuable information. I have already contacted BAMF and am hopeful for a positive outcome!
Greetings
