Where to open a blocked bank account?
Should the blocked bank account be opened in German bank branches located in Germany or would it be accepted if it is opened in a Turkish bank located in Turkey?

as far as we know it is possible to also have a block account outside of Germany, if they meet the requirements. This means that every month only a certain amount can be taken. This amount depends on the type of visa you want. Usually, as far as I know, most people choose German banks because their local branches do not offer this specific requirement of the exact amount. Unfortunately, I do not know about Turkish banks.
Please double check with if the bank allows for a block account that is required for a German visa.
