Inquiry About My Eligibility for Direct University Admission or Studienkolleg (ANABIN Requirements)

I hope you are doing well. I would like to kindly ask for your support regarding my university admission situation, because my educational background in Turkey is a bit complex and I want to be sure I am following the correct procedure according to ANABIN.

Below is my full academic background:

1. High School:
   • Graduated in 2018 from an Anatolian Technical High School (Anadolu Teknik Lisesi), Turkey.
2. University Entrance Exams in Turkey (YKS):
   • 2019: I was accepted into a 4-year bachelor’s program (Lisans). I attended for a short period but did not complete the first year.
   • 2021: I gained admission to a 2-year associate degree program (Önlisans). I enrolled but did not complete the first year.
   • 2023 – Present: I am currently studying an Open University (AÖF) Computer Programming Associate Degree.
     • I have completed the first year successfully.
     • I am enrolled in the second year.
     • I still have several courses to complete and I expect to finish them soon.
3. University Entry Type for Open University:
   • "Sınavsız İkinci Üniversite" (Second University without entrance exam).

My Questions

I kindly seek clarification on the following points:

1. Do I need Studienkolleg according to ANABIN rules, given my educational history?
   Or does completing one full year of higher education (AÖF first year) already make me eligible for direct university or Hochschule admission?
2. Is my Open University (AÖF) first year recognized as “one full year of higher education” for the purpose of bypassing Studienkolleg?
3. Is a YKS ranking requirement applied in my case?
   For example, I have heard that some institutions require a ranking within the top 180,000 for engineering/computer programs.
   Does this apply to me, or is it only for Turkish universities?
4. German language requirement:
   If I am eligible for direct admission, is B2 sufficient for application?
   Or do I still need Studienkolleg regardless of my German level?
5. Can I apply directly to a University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule/FH) with my current documents, or is Studienkolleg mandatory?

My goal is to understand whether:

• I must attend Studienkolleg,
  or
• I can apply directly to a university or Hochschule based on my completed first year at AÖF.
