Germany give me hope

I registered with kabulluftbrucke give us hope end encourage Thousands of Afghans are stuck in Pakistan, where they are exposed to the acute danger of deportation to Afghanistan - back in the hands of the Taliban. In the last days of their term of office, the former government did not allow any more flights and referred to its

successors. Schwarz-Rot writes in their coalition agreement that it wants to end voluntary federal reception programs, such as the one for Afghanistan.

The new federal government must keep Germany's word and implement the admission commitments made! We  have trusted in your protection - you must not let us down now.please God bless you all

Dear @kan__ ,

Thank you for sharing your message. What you have described reflects the serious and urgent situation currently faced by many Afghans, particularly those stranded in Pakistan who are at risk of being deported to Afghanistan under Taliban control.
It is understandable that people who placed their trust in Germany's promises would feel disappointed and anxious, especially since federal admission programme is being discontinued. Your call is justified and necessary.

Please note that we are an online forum and are not part of the government. However, we have gathered some actual information on Afghanistan: https://handbookgermany.de/ps/afghanistan-info

@LIFE__Initiative Do you have any further information that might be helpful?

Best wishes Barbara

Hello @kan__ , thank you for your inquiry. I'm sorry to hear about your difficult situation. These answers are provisional, as we do not know your exact situation and cannot give legal advice. Unfortunately, we cannot give you any specific recommendations for your situation. However, we can give you information about your options:

Information on the asylum process: To begin with, here’s an important piece of information: You can only apply for asylum if you are in Germany. To briefly summarize the process: Within Germany, you would need to contact the German authorities, i.e., the immigration office, an arrival center, or an initial reception center, and inform them that you want to apply for asylum. You will then be taken to an initial reception center for refugees to register. You will either be given an appointment with the BAMF ("Federal Office for Migration and Refugees") at the registration or later by mail. At this appointment, you will officially submit your asylum application. More information can be found here:https://life-initiative.org/hgt-registrierung-als-asylsuchender-12-2024-en/.

Information about visas: If you are not yet in Germany, there may also be other ways for you to come to Germany to live and work. You can view the different types of visas and the conditions for obtaining them here:https://handbookgermany.de/en/information-skilled-workers (check below to see more visa types). For further information, we recommend contacting a migration counseling center.

What can you do next?

I hope this information is helpful for you.
Kind regards, Yasmin
