What can I do if my current employee doesn´t renew my contract?

Hi

In context, I have been living in Germany for five years. I studied for a Master´s degree and then applied for a job seeker visa, which I had for six months, but after that, I found a job. In this job, they first gave me a limited contract for one year, and after that, another contract for one year. My boss told me she would not renew my contract a month ago. I know that after 1 year of working in Germany, you can receive the Arbeitslosengelg, but my question is, can I apply for any other visa? For example, to a chancenkarte or to a job seeker visa? By the way, this year I never got my new visa, I just had a Fiktionbeschenigung, and never heard back from the Ausländerbehorde.

Thanks!

Hi @Georginagv , maybe this thread will also help you, similar questions have been asked in this community.
In general you can apply for another residency if you fulfill the criteria.
You can find more information about the Chancenkarte on our page
Best wishes
