When does my visa expire after you lost your employment

  1. I had an Aufenthaltserlaubnis under the condition of full time job for Company A until 31.10.2025

2. I applied to a new Company B and received the contract for an internship there for 6 months.

3. I gave a notice to previous Company A and applied for Arbeitgeberwechsel at Ausländerbehörde.

4. The new Company B cancelled my employment due to unclarity of my visa Status (Company B didn't want to wait the Arbeitgeberwechsel process.)

Questions:

Since I don't have a Job, does it mean my Visa isnt valid anymore ?

And I want to know WHEN it expires and WHEN do I Need to possibly leave Germany?

Also I want to know HOW to inform the Ausländerbehörde of this since you are obliged to inform them.

Thank you so much for your support in advance!

Hi, thanks for reaching out, I am sorry to hear that Company B cancelled your employment contract, that must be quite frustrating.

There are many on this community forum with similar questions, please have a look at other threads, maybe some of your questions are already answered then.
I think the following thread might be useful for you.

Your Visa is tied to a purpose so if you lose your job the purpose of your visa is no longer there, meaning you will have to inform the immigration office, which can then give you an extension to look for a job. How much of an extension they will give you usually depends on the case worker.
You can inform the immigration in various ways, one way is to send an e-mail to your case worker/section. I am not sure which immigration is in charge but would sending an e-mail work?

If you have further questions, then please let me know.
Best wishes
